We recently re-built this beautiful new deck for a family in Hawke’s Bay! The timing was perfect for summer, allowing them to fully enjoy their wonderful outdoor space and host safe, fun-filled family pool parties for years to come. Plus, we added a charming new extension to their home, that will stand the test of time.

Material Used: Kwila Decking
We built this solid new balustrade made with Vitex. (Vitex cofassus) is a highly durable, dense hardwood from the Solomon Islands. Prized for its light colour and excellent outdoor weathering, it requires little maintenance and is a popular choice for high-traffic exterior projects like decking and boardwalks in New Zealand. It’s super stable, a breeze to work with, and ages beautifully into a silver-grey patina.
